Silver Ribbon Group Hosts 12th schizophrenia peer Support Meeting at Rajah Rehablitation Centre

On April 29,2025, the Silver Ribbon group successfully conducted its 12th peer Support group meeting at the Thanal day care Centre. The session focused on the theme “Understanding Schizophrenia;Breaking the stigma,With an Introductory remark delivered by Dr pfizer (psychiatrist )
The program was Inaugurated by Dr Venugopal, (Consultant psychiatrist) who also launched awareness posters and led a brief Interative session with patients. Special address were delivered by Dr Anju krishna (consultant psychiatrist), and Mr Anil Kumar (psychologist).
The event Featured skit by nursing students, interactive activities by social work Interns, and Informative talks by psychiatrists. The Focus was on raising awarness and breaking the Stigma associated with schizophrenia .
The session concluded with the distribution of Prize for psg members. Mr Sunil Kumar(manager, RCMT) , Nursing superintendent Mrs jency also felicitated the program. vote of thanks was extended by the psg group members.
