Rajah Rehabilitation Centre (RRC) is a nonprofit voluntary organization established in 1982 dedicated to the people suffering from psychiatric illness. It offers care, support, training and rehabilitation of the disabled people.
Families, friends and care givers are assisted with the challenge of providing care for disabled who need special attention. It adopts an interdisciplinary team approach for the upliftment of disabled.
Rajah Rehabilitation Centre provides various services like outpatient and inpatient treatment for persons who have psychiatric and behavior problems, alcohol and drug de addiction treatment, vocational rehabilitation and day care programme for mentally disabled.

Rajah Charitable Medical Trust
RAJAH CHARITABLE MEDICAL TRUST was set up in December,1982. There was total absence of charitable hospitals then and also as of today almost in 20 km radius. Philanthropic interest of settlers and trustees led then to make humble beginning in this direction and in 1982 the Trust started an outpatient medicine clinic and a Pharmacy with one MD Doctor and two nurses.
The patients registered with the trust were extended facility of free cards which enabled them to receive treatment free of cost. Thus an era of free treatment to needy and poor people in the region started as back as in the year 1982. With this humble beginning the trust developed a hospital with 150 beds, with department like Medical, Surgical, Orthopedic, Opthalmology,ENT, Gynecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Diabatology, Demotology, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Cardiology and part time super specially divisions like Gastroenterology, Urology, Neurology, Neurosurgery and Nursing School.
Apart from this hospital department of Cardiology with cath lab has facilities like Coronary angiogram, Primary Coronary Angioplasty, Peripheral Angiogram and Angioplasty, Renal Angioplasty and Temporary & permanent pacemaker implantation. Besides this the hospital has a day care and vocational rehabilitation centre for mentally retarded and neurologically ailing persons. Main moto is caring and enabling socially rejected mentally and neurologically ailing persons, who cannot look after themselves and integrating them into the main stream of society by providing humanitarian rehabilitation facility through public acceptance.
Rajah Group
Rajah Group was established by A. Abdul Kader Sahib in the year 1935. He started as a business venture manufacturing beedies with sales in Sri Lanka. The group also was involved in other businesses in Sri Lanka like trading in tobacco, printing business etc. Later due to changes in the foreign policies of the Sri Lankan Government, the group gave its businesses in Sri Lanka to the staffs of its Companies there & shifted its operations to India.
The group gradually became a leading manufacturer of Beedies, employing directly & indirectly about 35,000 people in India. Its products are in good demand in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra. The group has received best taxpayer awards in the states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu
