The 25th Anniversary Celebration of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), New Life Group, was held on 25 October 2026 at Rajah Hospital Annex, Muthuvattoor, Chavakkad, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The programme was organised to commemorate the anniversary and highlight the importance of recovery, mutual support, and awareness regarding alcohol addiction. Members and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the occasion and encourage individuals and families affected by alcohol dependence.
The keynote addresses were delivered by Latheesh from Kozhikode, representing Alcoholics Anonymous, and Biji from Malappuram, representing Al-Anon. Their sessions highlighted the importance of recovery, mutual support, and the role of support groups in helping individuals and families affected by alcohol dependence.
The programme also included felicitation by Dr. Anju, Psychiatrist; Dr. Pfizer, Psychiatrist; Ms. Aparna, Social Worker; and Mrs. Princy Rijo, Social Worker. They appreciated the efforts of Alcoholics Anonymous in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery and emphasised the importance of continued support, family involvement, and community participation in maintaining sobriety.
The programme concluded with a message of hope and encouragement, reaffirming the commitment to recovery, unity, and service.
