Art therapy @ thanal day care center

A team comprising 8 students and 4 faculty members from the Department of Physics, Little Flower College, Guruvayur, visited Thanal Day Care Centre on 26th August 2025. The group arrived at the centre at 3:20 PM.

As part of the visit, the students actively engaged with the inmates of the centre. Notably, Ms. Anaswara, one of the students, took the initiative to guide and assist the inmates in creating artwork. Fabric materials were provided for this purpose, and the students demonstrated and taught the inmates how to create art using these materials.

The session concluded with a musical performance by one of the inmates, which added a heartfelt and joyful ending to the visit.

The interaction proved to be a meaningful experience for both the visitors and the thanall residents of the centre, fostering creativity, companionship, and community spirit.
