KUDUMBAYOGAM REPORT – AUGUST 2019
Thanal,our Sheltered workshop Organized the 133nd Shreyas Family Carers Support meeting (Kudumbayogam) on 21/08/19.The main agenda of this Kudumbayogam was class on Basic Life support by Dr.Shabeen Abbas,Chief Medical Oficer,Rajah Charitable Medical Trust,Muthuvattoor.
The meeting started with the welcome note by Mrs.Princy Rijo(PSW).Mrs.Raseeda presented the minutes of previous meeting.
Dr.Shabeen took class on BLS (Basic Life Support).Dr in detail explained about the emergency techniques to be handled when an individual collapses. Staff nurse Brother Bineesh was there to assist the Doctor Shabeeen in giving a demo.
An appreciable response and feedback was there from Shreyas members.Care givers were given chance to try CPR to the manequinn
Almost 65 members participated in the meeting.
Social worker Ms.Anju (PSW) gave a brief report about Job club and work site trial in progress. Job club Volunteers had a short discussion about the Clients who are on work site trial.
Dr N.Pfizer shared about our new launch of Home Management Skills training.
Executive committee meeting of Shreyas was held after the general body meeting. Mrs.Sabira was elected as the new Shreyas President. Members discussed in detail about Onam Celebrations.
Refreshments were served after the meeting.
Mr.Abbas, Shreyas Secretary concluded the meeting with vote of thanks.
