Observance of world Mental day @Thanal sheltered workshop on 10TH October 2019.
A talent show and crafts exhibition was organized.
Our Chief guest for the day was Dr.R.V.Damodaran,Medical Superintendent,RCMT

The ceremony started with a welcome speech by Psychiatric Social Worker Ms.Anju.Introductory remarks by Dr.N.Pfizer followed by Presidential address by Dr.R.V.Damodaran,Mr.Sivadasan gave motivational speech as well as Mental Health Day mesasage.
Thanal Beneficiaries inaugurated the ceremony by watering a plant.

Mrs.Lily Antony (Shreyas member) gave a special address to the gathering about Mental Health.
After the formal inaugural,Talent show by Thanal inmates and BSW Students from MD College ,Pazhanji were well exhibited and the event was very colourful with songs,dance,skit play,mimicry and much more.
The ceremony went on to be a memorable one and the inmates of Thanal enjoyed & our main aim of Mental Health awareness was successful which was to make all understand the need to stand by mentally ill patients with support and care.
Refreshments were arranged to all gathered.
