SUMMER CAMP REPORT
Rajah Rehabilitation Centre, Muthuvattoor successfully conducted a Kids Summer
Camp on April 7 and 8, 2026, for children aged 7–13 years. The camp aimed to enhance children’s social skills, creativity, physical fitness, and overall development. The program began with a prayer, followed by the inauguration by Mr. Sivadasan (Press
Club President). The welcome speech was delivered by Mrs. Princy Rijo (Social Worker). The inaugural function included the lighting of the lamp by Mr. Sivadasan, Dr. Pfizer, Mr. Anilkumar, Mrs. Princy Rijo, Ms. Aparna Francis, and Ms. Arathy Padmakumar. The felicitation was delivered by Dr. Pfizer and Mr. Anilkumar, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged the children to actively participate. Later Mr. Sivadasan conducted an interestic topic for childrens.
On Day 1, started with an ice-breaking sessions, later various engaging activities such as games (Simon says), Zumba, and painting were conducted. Day 2 began with physical fitness activities led by Physiotherapist Abishek, promoting the importance of exercise and healthy habits. A special interactive class was handled by Mrs. Princy Rijo, focusing on the role of parents in children’s development. Children participated in team games (balloon challenge, music chair), art activities (key chain making). Prize distribution ceremony, where Pediatrician Dr. Mithun distributed prizes to the winners and appreciated the children’s active participation.
A special highlight of the camp was that all children participated in planting vegetable plants, encouraging environmental awareness and responsibility. Then the program
concluded with a talent show of the childrens.
