World Alzheimer day – September 21 2023 at Rajah Rehabilitation Centre

World Alzheimer’s day is celebrating on September 21st every year. On this day, the world concentrates it’s efforts on creating awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. World Alzheimer’s day is the perfect opportunity for us to raise our voices and find new ways of fighting the disease effects.

The theme of the year 2023, is Never too early, Never too late”

On this day Rajah Rehabilitation Centre (RRC) Chavakkad, Thrissur organized a Public awareness program on world Alzheimer’s day.
This ceremony was held to create awareness among people about the disease. This programme includes Elocution, Essay Writing and College Making Competition on the topic “Alzheimer’s disease” prizes were distributed on the official meeting.
This ceremony started by the Welcome Speech of Dr. N. Pfizer ( Psychiatrist, RCMT). Presidential address by Mr. Sivadas KC ( Press Club President, Chavakkad). Inauguration was done by Dr. R.V Damodharan ( Medical Superintendent, RCMT).  Key note address was delivered by Dr. Anju Krishna ( Consultant Psychiatrist, RCMT) Mrs. Sreerekaha (Nursing Superintendent, RCMT ) Mr. Shambu Anil ( Clinical Psychologist, RCMT ) felicitated on the occasion.
Prizes were distributed to winners who participated in Collage Making, Elocution and Essay Writing by Mr. Sivadasan ( Press Club President ) and Dr.Gracy (senior RMO)Contestants gave feedback of the event and Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mrs. Princy T T.
