World Mental Health Day- October 10 2023 at Rajah Rehabilitation centre

World mental health day is observed every year on 10th October . The day is dedicated to create awareness about the importance of good mental health and measures to protect and take better care of mental well being.
The theme of world mental health day 2023 is “Mental health is a universal human right”. The purpose of this theme is to improve knowledge, raise awareness and drive actions that promote and protect every one’s mental health as a universal human right, says WHO.
On this day Rajah rehabilitation Centre (RRC) Chavakkad, Thrissur organized a Public awareness program on world Mental health day.
This ceremony was held to create awareness among people about the disease.

This ceremony started by the Welcome Speech of Ms. Vincy jose Presidential address by Mr. Sivadas KC ( Press Club President, Chavakkad). Inauguration was done by Dr. R.V Damodharan ( Medical Superintendent, RCMT). Introductory remarks giveñ bY Dr.pfizer(psychiatrist,RCMT) Key note address was delivered by Dr. Anju Krishna ( Consultant Psychiatrist, RCMT) Mrs. princy TT (Social worker,RCMT ) Mr. Shambu Anil ( Clinical Psychologist, RCMT ) lead the sessions, related to the topic of Mental health, on the occasion. Around 65 members participated in the event
Patients shared their experiences strength and hope in the event and Vote of Thanks was delivered by Mr. Faizal v.k. Lunch was provided after the program.
